I joined Jenrick CPI as a Resourcing Consultant, like most of my colleagues, in 2001 and after ‘serving my apprenticeship' with Alec White (now manager of our Camberley Office), I have developed into a key account manager for the company forging a niche within the Pharmaceutical sector.
Working within Jenrick was my first role in recruitment and I openly admit that I did not know what to expect. What helped me settle in most of all were the people, not just how friendly my colleagues were, but also how easy it was to speak with the customers of the company. The whole environment was welcoming.
What do I find most enjoyable about the job? I really love building relationships with the customers. There is nothing like the reaction of a candidate who you have just placed – or the heartbreak if they don’t get the job. However, what I enjoy the most is when I receive a call out of the blue from an old candidate just to have a chat – that shows me that we are doing things right.
