Websphere Expert / Application Architect

Global organisation in Oxford are seeking a high level Websphere Applications Architect, to work on an initial 6 month contract, with the likelihood of extension or even to move into a permanent role.
Competitive rates of pay available, depending on experience.

The company are at present in the process of developing a solution to provide filtered details on published content within their core business areas.

The system is being developed in Java and utilises Websphere, Hibernate and Oracle. At present the project is handled offshore and the company are looking to bring this more in house and have a lack of Websphere experience in the UK to do this, so are looking for a pure Websphere specialist.

They are looking to bring on a Websphere expert who has excellent knowledge of setting up, configuring and managing Websphere application, process and portal servers. The ideal candidate would have some knowledge of databases and Application design.

There are currently 26 people within the offshore team, made up of Developers, BA's and Testers.

MUST HAVE

*Extensive experience of working in a similar role, as the key technical Websphere Architect.
*Degree level education or equivalent experience.
*Experience of working with both Waterfall and Agile project development methodologies.
*Must have extensive Websphere experience.

PMO Manager

The PMO management position would require being on site in the East Midlands Monday to Thursday with the ability to work from home most Fridays.

The responsibilities would be:
STATUS
oChasing down and collating weekly status reports from each work stream lead
oManagement and ownership of programme risk and issue logs
oChasing updates for risks, issues and actions
oReview of risks and issues with Programme Manager from Consultancy and end Client
PLANNING
oChasing updates to programme plan from work streams
oOwnership of high-level plan
oUpdate of summary plan (in powerpoint) from underlying detail
oEscalation of plan slippages to teams and up to programme management
FINANCE
oManage the raising of Purchase Orders for suppliers (up to 6 suppliers)
oReceiving invoices, matching against PO's and getting approval for payment.
oTracking spend against budget
oWeekly reporting of project financials with support from a Financial Analyst.
DOCUMENTATION
oMinute taking in status, risk and issue meetings + other key programme meetings
oDocumentation support for programme management e.g. Updating documents

A flexible approach to work is vital. Experience of working in a PMO team / as PMO working for a Consultancy out on a client site is key. This contract position should last for 6 months+ but with a shorter initial commitment.

A well established IT recruitment agency who run a daily payroll on provision of approved timesheets are looking for experienced Project Managers from a Consultancy background who have strong experience working within IT Operations

There is currently a Programme running for a prestigious end client which will govern the design of a new IT Operation and transfer of outsourced IT services from the incumbent supplier to a handful of new suppliers.

The project management roles will oversee the service transfer from the incumbent supplier to a new supplier.

The following responsibilities are:
*Ensure supplier teams have robust delivery plans which are aligned with overall implementation plan
*Ensure quick resolution of supplier questions and issues - help unblock issues impacting progress
*Ensure the client is delivering to their contractual obligations
*Work with regional teams to develop regional roll out plans
*Manage dependencies between service transfer projects, and with other enabling projects
*Regularly monitor progress against plan with supplier teams - communicating to PMO and other workstreams as required

Oracle iSupplier Consultant / Dublin

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oracle iSource specialist to work for our client based in Dublin.

The project is expected to go on for 3 months, with possibility of extension. As our client are US based, the rate will be paid in $, however we can pay in either Euros or Sterling.

Our client are in the process of ramping up the staff for Global Design plus a small sub project in Europe. They have an implementation of R11.5.10 and are looking to expand this year by implementing iSourcing and iSupplier.

They require a strong independent consultant with strong iSourcing and iProducts knowledge to assist them in Dublin to implement the products.

BI SAP Consultant (PP-Production Planning)

Daily paying agency are Urgently seeking an experienced, well rounded, flexible SAP BI Professional, to assist a Global Leading pharmaceutical organisation, with a European roll out of SAP BI.

This is a contract position for 18 months and will require working solely within Southern Germany, with travel to other sites in the UK and Ireland on occasion. Candidates must be flexible with travel and be eligible to travel across the UK and EU. Rates are competitive and dependant upon experience.

In this role you will join a small team of 4 (including you), who are spread across Europe, to ensure the smooth delivery of this template SAP BI roll-out. You will be the sole representative in Germany and therefore must have proven experience of working as the lead and solely on a SAP roll-out project.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS FOR THE ROLE

* Very good Client facing, Stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage customer relationships at all levels and timely reporting of deliverables back to the regional Deployment lead is a key component of this role.
* Must have demonstrable SAP BI full life cycle implementation skills with clear responsibility of project deliverables.
* First rate technical analysis skills of SAP BI are essential (Back end analysis of existing BI architecture, data loading, modelling through to front end report design and creation, as well as BI authorisations)
* SAP Functional experience is required within these areas and in this order of priority: PP, MES (Manufacturing execution systems), Finance (in particular CO, Product Costing and Project Systems), Procurement, APO and Warehouse Management. Production Planning and in a Manufacturing environment is ESSENTIAL.
* Good level of experience on SAP BI7 required and any Business Objects experience is advantageous.
* Knowledge of other Data Warehousing tools in particular Cognos is advantageous.
* Ability to work in a small, high performing team and deal with multiple functional areas essential.
* Experience of data migration and Project Cutover is advantageous.
* Experience with a template roll out is highly desirable.
* Experience of technical and functional specification creation required
* Experience of and good ability to teach, create training material also an asset
* Experience of successfully leading a project also required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a large roll-out programme, for which the template is already set and where the solution is already in place. We are looking for someone that can roll it out without having to enhance it, if at all possible.

There are aggressive time-lines to follow and therefore we need someone that has worked in a fast moving project, where they have been the sole lead for a large roll-out within a manufacturing environment, so that they will be able to hit the ground running and have full experience of this environment.

We are NOT looking for heavily architectural based individuals as they you will not be designing anything. We are looking for more of an all-rounder. Project management, delivery focused, technically minded, customer focused SAP consultants, that can do everything to get this roll-out delivered smoothly, with minimal or no supervision, as they will work mainly on their own initiative.

January is the proposed start for 18 months.

Experience of working in Germany would be advantageous, however not essential and German speaking skills are not required either as the business language is English within this organisation.

We will also consider candidates based in the UK, that are happy to travel extensively.

Overall we are looking for someone with production planning and BI experience in a manufacturing environment.

Automation Analyst / 6 months / 50k pro rata

An international law firm based in central London are seeking an experienced Document Automation Analyst to assist the team with the analysis and automation of documentation.

The project will be a 6 month project and they can pay either £250 per day to a contractor, or up to £55k for a fixed term contracted on a pro rate basis.

The selected candidate will work closely with the BA, PSLs and fee earners to automate documentation using GhostFill so previous experience of this is a must.

Other responsibilities include:
* Producing functional and technical specification documentation
* Documenting business processes using Microsoft Visio 2010
* Documenting the development of document automation applications
* Presenting IT solutions to a non technical audience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SC Cleared Network Team leader to work of a global leading engineering services company, based on site in Hampshire.

The Network Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Network team, monitor and maintain Networks.

Responsibilities:
* Day to day management of dispersed geographically located team.
* Fault management and rectification across the Infrastructure to agreed SLA / KPI's.
* Core Network - Monitoring and maintenance of Data Centre networks.
* WAN - Manage the Infrastructure.
* LAN - Manage all site installations and infrastructure (switches etc) to agreed performance levels.
* Network Security Devices - Day to day management and monitoring of Firewall infrastructure, to include Configuration, Maintenance and regular Admin.

Qualification, experience and knowledge:
