Pumpkin carving competition to celebrate Halloween

Jenrick embraced Halloween by holding a pumpkin carving competition – read this article to see the entries and winners.

Thanks to a great suggestion from Jane Stevens, long-serving Senior Consultant in Jenrick CPI, everyone at the Group’s Head Office challenged their artistic skills by entering a pumpkin carving competition.

Jane highlighted what she chose to organise the event:

"We thought it would be a great bit of fun as a number of the team were off to Halloween parties that evening and we thought it would get everyone in the spirit of things.

Our CEO, Simon Murphy, really helped to kick the day off by giving us all Halloween goodie boxes, full of little decorations and fancy dress items. It gave the offices a real buzz!

Overall, it was a great little event to do. It took no time to organise, very little time out of anyone’s working day, yet, made Halloween so much fun."

There were three categories for the pumpkin entries, which were judged by Mel Williams and Sally Piner, from the Accounts Department, with the winning pumpkins eventually being:

The Scariest – All the Commercial Girls (Sam, Sophie, Claire, Naomi)
The Most Creative - Emma Waddington (with apparently no help from her team)
The Funniest – Simon Murphy (with very little help from his team)
– All the Commercial Girls () - (with apparently no help from her team) –  (with very little help from his team)

Thanks again to everyone to took part, to Sally and Mel for Judging and Simon for taking the time to create the Goodie Bags!
